 Aim:

To provide an update on current immunisation practices, recent changes and best practice guidance in line with PHE (2018) National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Immunisation Training for Registered Healthcare Professionals.

Learning Outcomes:

After this session attendees will have a greater understanding of the following:
• Current issues in vaccination
• Recent epidemiology of vaccine-preventable diseases
• Any changes to the National Immunisation Schedule
• Any changes to legislation relevant to vaccination
• Anaphylaxis recognition and management
• Review of current practice and identification of areas for improvement
• Q&A session for commonly encountered problems in practice
